Peptide pen injector
A peptide pen injector is a dosing device that holds a standard 3ml glass cartridge and delivers 0.01ml every time the dial clicks. You fill the cartridge, load it, screw on a pen needle and dial the number of clicks you want. Ours start at £12.00 for a disposable and £25.00 for a reusable metal one.
Work out how many clicks your dose comes to with the calculator before you choose a pen, because the answer decides whether 60 units is enough.

What actually happens when you click
Inside the pen is a threaded rod pressing against the rubber plunger in the cartridge. Each click advances that rod by a fixed amount, and that amount is set so one click pushes exactly 0.01ml out of the needle. Dial ten clicks and the rod is set to travel far enough to push 0.1ml when you press.
This is why the increment never changes and why the pen cannot be inaccurate in the way people worry about. What varies is the strength of the liquid you put in it, which is decided by your water volume, not by the device.
Where dosing error actually comes from goes into that properly.
You need both, for different jobs
A syringe draws liquid out of the vial and puts it into the cartridge. The pen takes it from the cartridge and delivers a measured dose. People sometimes assume the pen replaces the syringe entirely; it replaces the measuring and injecting part, not the filling part.
The gain is in repeat use. Counting clicks is faster and more reliable than reading graduations on a barrel, particularly at small volumes where a syringe line is a fraction of a millimetre wide.
Asked before buying a pen
- What is a peptide pen injector?
- A reusable dosing device that holds a 3ml glass cartridge and delivers a measured amount each time you click the dial. One click is one unit, which is 0.01ml. You fill the cartridge yourself, screw on a disposable needle and dial the dose you want.
- Is a pen injector better than a syringe?
- For repeat measured doses, yes, on two counts. You dial by counting clicks instead of squinting at a barrel, and the needle is a fresh 6mm pen needle rather than a longer syringe needle. A syringe is still needed for the filling step.
- Does it hurt less than a syringe?
- Generally, because pen needles are shorter and finer than typical syringe needles: 31G × 6mm against 29G or 30G at half an inch. What you inject and how cold it is matter more than the device.
- Do I still need syringes?
- Yes, for drawing liquid out of the vial and into the cartridge. The pen delivers the dose; the syringe does the filling.
- How much does a peptide pen injector cost?
- £12.00 for a disposable and £25.00 for a reusable pen. A refill cartridge is £4.00.
