Evidence levels, and why they matter
Every page carries an evidence label. It is the most useful thing on the page and the thing supplier listings never tell you.
| Human trials | Randomised controlled trials in people. A different category of confidence entirely. |

| Early human data | Small or exploratory studies in people. Suggestive, not settled. |
| Animal studies only | Usually rodents. Most compounds discussed online sit here, and most promising animal results never reproduce in humans. |
| Laboratory only | Cells in a dish. |
A compound with impressive rat data and no human trials is not a proven anything. That distinction is the whole point of this section.
